Reliance Jio will be in the news today as Reliance Industries Limited’s Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani is expected to make a big announcement around the service. The event will start live at 1.30 pm on the company’s official Jio handle on YouTube as well as Jio Play app which will have the livestream. Reliance has not given any hint around what to expect from today’s event, although reports claim the company could extend Jio Welcome Offer to March 2017.
The speed problems were due to the over use of data by 20% of the people.
The Jio Happy New Year Offer: 80 per cent of users consumer less than one per cent of 1GB data on Jio. But 20 per cent of users are consuming disproportionate amount of data, which is causing congestion problem. The FUP policy is changed in the Happy New Year Offer. Users will be able test drive the bill payments option via the Jio Money app.

He also added that, Jio grew faster than Facebook, WhatsApp and Skype. They have 52 million customers in just three months. Ambani thanks all their customers; “thank you for reinforcing belief in digital India.”
However, new customers who buy a Jio SIM post December 3 might be not able to get the free offer and will have to try out the paid tariff plans. We suggest you to get a new sim before December 3, if you haven't brought it yet.
