Increase App Storage ( JB, KK, LP ) - Micromax Unite 2

The major drawback of Micromax Unite 2 is the lack of app storage. The stock firmwares are not having shared storage, thus it is having one partition for app storage and the other one as internal storage. To get rid of the low app storage problem,
you need to re-partition your storage. Follow up this guide to know how.




This is pretty much an old development made by our great contributor Qamrul Bro. I'm just sharing it to combine different and all the mods on a single page.

FEATURES



Flashing the provided mod will change the apps memory


Internal memory = Total ROM – ( 1.44 GB + apps memory)


Where,

Internal Memory - the partition in which you save personal datas (images, music, videos, etc)

Total Rom - the phone model (8gb/4gb)

1.44 GB - Device system partition

App memory - Partition in which applications are saved



Example:
If ROM is 8 GB and phone memory is 2.5 GB then internal memory will be 4 GB.


Note: 4 GB model supports maximum 2.5 GB for apps. Don’t flash more than 2.5 GB in 4 GB model.


INSTALL GUIDE



You need a Custom recovery. if you don't have a custom recovery,
follow these guides >> Click Here for TWRP v3 | Click here for CTR v3

  1. Download the mod zip
  2. Enter custom recovery
  3. Install the zip from downloaded folder
  4. Do a wipe (Data | Cache | Dalvik cache)
  5. Reboot
